The pressure from work has been close to 7 days a week, and my hopeful return to doing some art will now be further delayed by having to go into hospital, and a period of recoupment.
In the circumstances I have left trying to arrange a local exhibition for now, and might try to put something together for the Spring once I am back in the swing.
I missed the opportunity of some unique photography this week when, on the way to work on Wednesday, the whole sky and sea was a totally milky pink, reflecting the sun from behind me. With a high spring tide which was flat calm, the atmosphere it created was something I have never seen before, and I just wished I`d had my gear with me. Chance missed. Again.

gower images

I have recently spent some more time on the Gower taking some dramatic images before this Indian Summer fades away. The image on the left is on Llangennith beach on a receding tide, a beautiful area when conditions are right.
I have not been able to get back to my film photography a present, but hope to be able to utilise the Autumn period for some work with my cokin filters.

not the busiest month!
Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to take forward any art at all for the last month. Work and family commitments in particular have taken over at the moment, but hopefully it won`t be long before I get a semblance of order again.
Having fallen behind a bit I have decided not to go for the exhibition opportunity in Tenby. I do however plan to start reusing the hall I have used soon in order to try and get some momentum back. My drawing is even rustier than the painting, so hopefully i`ll be back in the swing of that as well shortly if I can line up convenient nights.
Thank you again to Sharon & Co at `Named and Framed` in Llanelli for continuing to display my cards. They seem to be going! Thanks
