Holiday break

 

It was good for us to have a break in Tenby, Pembrokeshire last week. 

After a wet arrival, the weather improved into a proper summer week (for once!), and our few days there felt like a real holiday.

It was the first time too that i`d ever been on Caldey Island, and by catching one of the first ferries it meant that the island was just so quiet. No traffic or background noise, only the sound of birds and our footsteps.

What struck me was the clarity of the water, and the area deserves it`s Blue Flag status.
